June is not just a time for busting out the BBQ and enjoying long summer evenings – for Blue Juice its the time of year we really start getting ready for the Cannonball Run Europe.
We have been a part of the event since its launch in 2002, and in 2006 we became the media partner on the event – responsible for all the photos and video work. Each year we have looked at new and innovative ways to film and present the event online, and for the this years usual written daily blog will be accompanied for the first time with a daily video podcast. Blue Juice Multimedia are pleased to announce that stage one of the Cannonball Run Europe (www.cannonballruneurope.co.uk) refresh is now live! Blue Juice faced a number of challenges on the revamp, not least integrating the existing content which has grown over the last 9 years into the the new template, and retaining search engine rankings throughout the changes. With Stage One completed, Blue Juice are now tasked with reformatting and updating the content, in particular the multimedia sections of the site including the addition of HD video content.
In July 2009 Blue Juice will be present throughout the Cannonball event, filming and editing the daily podcast and managing the online blog pages, which will include Google Earth intergration with geotagged content.
